On Wings of Nether

Yep, you read that correctly. I hit exalted with the Netherwing yesterday afternoon. I have to say that I have been incredibly lucky finding Netherwing Eggs each time I visit Shadowmoon Valley. I find about 5 every time I'm out there. So that definitely helped to expedite the rep grind.

It was also my 25th exalted reputation...which makes me wonder about myself...what kind of masochist puts themselves through 25+ rep grinds? Eesh...But it continues, since next on my list is Sha'tari Skyguard. It should be fun! I am already revered with them, so I think this home-stretch will go pretty quickly.

I've also decided I'm going to do my Argent Tournament dailies again. I became a Champion of Darnassus awhile ago...and right now I'm working on Exodar. I think Gnomeregan is going to be the hardest faction of all...I really just...don't like gnomes much at all. At least Dwarves are funny drunks. Gnomes just make me cringe...So I'll be working on that since there are mounts to be had out there (and gold...oh heavens the gold!).

The gold is another reason I'm doing it. See, I'm working toward this 100 mount achievement. It's sort of expensive. I mean, the WotLK mounts are, on average, 1k-2k gold. The BC faction mounts are only 200 gold, but when you're buying 5 of them at a time, it really starts to add up. With the Argent Tournament dailies, you can earn a good pile of gold each time. Since I'm exalted with all of my Alliance factions, I just pick up the Champion's Purse when doing the non-Exodar dailies. That's 10g a pop. Not to mention the fact that each daily quest rewards you with about 10g or more. So I'll be doing those for the gold until I have all of my titles and mounts.

Right now I'm at 76/100 for the mounts. I just picked up my Darnassian Nightsaber last night. Such a pretty, pretty mount! I love him! I'll post a few pictures here of the mounts. I didn't take actual screenshots because I forgot. I can do that tonight and post them later on.

Those are my new drakes. I love them so much! I also have the Darnassian Nightsaber. This is what he looks like...

I really love this mount. There's a huntress that patrols in Darnassus that rides a black saber around and I've always been envious of that mount, since us Night Elves hadn't previously been able to get a mount that even looks anything like that. But now we have one and it's awesomesauce! I have had my Moonsaber for quite awhile now. I think I've posted pictures of him already. Collecting mounts is so much fun! Expensive fun, but fun nonetheless!
