Babes in Blackfathom

We all know that I'm one of those who insists on running "on level" groups for instances. I had a bit of an entertaining evening trying to get things going last night.

I've been grinding my death knight, well...to death. (Hehahahaha A PUN OMG A PUN!) I thought I'd take the night off and play one of my other toons for awhile. I logged into my little priest and since I had 3 dungeon quests for Blackfathom Deeps, I joined LFG.

Within 2 minutes of joining the channel, I got invited into a group. There was a level 80 druid along with a level 21-ish paladin. I wasn't really interested in going, but I figured that maybe I could get the quests out of the way and find another fun instance to run with an actual on level group.

It only took about 30 seconds for them to make me leave the group. The conversation went like this:

[Party] [DeathKnight]: So which instance do you guys need?
[Party] [Mypriest]: I was hoping to run with an on-level group, tbh.
[Party] [Paladin]: Um...idk
[Party] [Deathknight]: Which one is TBH? i dont remember ever running that one...
[Party] [Paladin]: im only 7 yr old so i run what you take me to run
[Party] [Mypriest]: tbh= To Be Honest...
[Hunterfriend] whispers: what're you up to?
To [Hunterfriend]: getting noobed to pieces, you?
[Party] [DeathKnight]: so it's not an instance?
[Party] [Mypriest]: No, sir. Not an instance...I don't know if this is going to work out tonight...
[Party] [Deathknight]: because i didnt know which instance tbh is?
[Hunterfriend] whispers: lol noobed again? poor thing! I'm in stocks atm.
To [Hunterfriend]: stocks atm...which instance is that?
[Hunterfriend] whispers: hmm?
To [Hunterfriend]: lvl 80 DK just offered to run this pally and I through an instance to get achievements. I said I prefered an on-level group tbh. He asked 'which instance is that?"
[Hunterfriend] whispers: ROFLMAO
To [Hunterfriend]: Aye. Noobed again =(
[Party] [Mypriest]: No...well...yeah, actually yeah.
Mypriest has left the party.
To [Hunterfriend]: oi...back to the drawing board...
[Hunterfriend] whispers: lol

A little while later, I ended up in yet another fail group. Here's a smaller excerpt from the party chat...

[Party] [Druid]: who b healz?
[Party] [Mypriest]: I guess that's me unless you want to.
[Party] [Paladin1]: no Ir is heal
[Party] [Paladin1]: i am tank
[Party] [Druid]: wut am i?
[Party] [Hunter]: DPS
[Party] [Druid]: wtf is that?
[Party] [Mypriest]: ooooh jeeeeeeez.... o.o
[Party] [Paladin1]: DAMAGE
[Party] [Druid]: we all doin damage cept heal right?
You take one look at druid and cover your face with your palm.
[Party] [Paladin1]: well yea i guess...
[Party] [Mypriest]: we ready to go?

So, we get to the first boss...and the first boss was all we took down...The hunter decided to enter a BG while we waited for one of the party members to return from being AFK...but Ghamoora's Bind dropped...

Yes. I won Ghamoora's Bind with a freakin 1 on a Need Roll. And people don't think I have ANY luck. In retrospect, I wish I had screen-shotted that. It could have gone in my trophy room =D.

At any rate. With the hunter in the battleground and the rest of us irritated at having to randomly wait for party members, we disbanded. I ended up getting in with a REALLY awesome group, but the server restarted on us and we never managed to finish the instance. If I could have gotten their names, I might have added them to the friend's list for another go. I think I might just make my husband run me through this time though...I really don't know if I want to go through another "DPS? What's that???" moment anytime soon! hehe
